The 24th Annual "Fall AutoFest" will take place at Festival Park, in Zephyrhills, Florida Thursday through Sunday, November 13, 14, 15 & 16, 2008. Festival Park and the Auction are owned and operated by the Sierra Family. The Collector Car Auction will start Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
You will need to register as a bidder in our Bidder Office before you can bid on any of up to 160 cars that will be running through Saturday's sale and up to 130 cars in Sunday's sale. A maximum of 290 cars will be accepted for both days. It is advisable to register as a bidder a sufficient time in advance of the sale to ensure you will be able to bid on each of the vehicles you’re interested in.
For Bidders: Registration fee, which includes Saturday and Sunday admission for two to the festival and auction, is only $50.00 (non-refundable). Please make check payable to Zephyrhills Auction, Inc. A reserved parking area has been set aside for bidders who register in advance. Your parking windshield decal and admission passes will be sent to you upon receipt of your bidder registration and fee. Bidder fee payment must be made by cash or certified funds after November 1, 2008. Your bidder number and photo badge will be issued at the bidder office upon receipt of your letter of guarantee, $500.00 cash deposit for cash buyers or MBNA financing approval. The auction will be held indoors for maximum comfort in the large blue and white Auction Building. Bidder registration and cashiering will be in the building adjacent to the Auction Building.
It is advisable if your schedule allows to register as a bidder on Thursday or Friday even though the auction takes place Saturday and Sunday. If you will be waiting to register as a bidder until Saturday or Sunday, it is recommended that you check in at the Bidder Office as soon as you arrive at Festival Park.
Bidders should be aware that purchases must be paid for in full (amount bid plus 6% buyer's premium plus tax, tag, & title fees) at the conclusion of that day's sale, by cash, cashier's check, money orders, traveler's checks, check accompanied by bank letter of guarantee or MBNA Financing, unless previous arrangements have been made with the Auction. In addition to traditional forms of payment such as cash, cashier's check, money orders, traveler's checks and check accompanied by bank letter of guarantee, Zephyrhills Auction has established a convenient alternative arrangement with MBNA that can assist you in paying for your purchases at this sale if you wish to take advantage of it. This is called MBNA Instant Credit Financing. If you already have a credit card issued by MBNA, you may arrange to charge Zephyrhills Auction purchases to that card. You should see a representative in our Bidder Office as soon as you arrive to take care of this. If you don't already have such a card but you would like to potentially pay for Zephyrhills Auction purchases with an MBNA issued credit card, ask in our Bidder Office about getting a card on-site to provide you MBNA Instant Credit Financing. There is no application fee and the approval process typically takes only a half hour, facilitating your bidding and payment. Using MBNA Instant Credit Financing results in no interest charges or other fees if you pay the card balance prior to the due date after you receive the statement showing your purchase amount.
You may make arrangements with the Auction, for your convenience, to leave purchased vehicles on the grounds for a few days after the sale.
Steps have been taken to minimize or eliminate auction vehicles valued at $3,000.00 or less. This will allow more numbers for better vehicles.
A current copy of Automobile Dealer's License, Dealer Representative Authorization and Department of Revenue Annual Resale Certificate are required for all dealer sales.
Due to insurance dictates, no golf carts, scooters, mopeds, minibikes, ATV's or similar vehicles, nor pets may be allowed on the grounds.
